The outgoing 2nd batch of Bhitai dental and medical college, counting with its proud tradition, celebrated a cultural event followed by the music concert. They organized a farewell week which included besides many programs, a welcome party to the new batch (6th Batch) Dr. Permanand under his able supervision organized the programs with the guidance from Principal Dr. Abdul Ghani Pathan. Cultural show started with a breakfast party thrown by the final year students, which was followed by exciting performances by the students of different batches, showcasing their talents.
The other day a grand musical concert was organized with food stalls to add on the spice in the atmosphere and to bring in more heat in freezing temperatures of Mirpurkhas. BDMC having its first of the kind concert was decorated with lights and with the stage being set in the middle. Rap star Ali Badshah with Shahvaiz and Sallar Band brought the stage on fire with their entertaining performances and wonderful selection of songs. The program started with the welcome speech by Professor Muhammad Laiq Thebo who appreciated the efforts being put up by all the organizers and wished everyone a fun filled evening he readout the message from the Chairman Bhitai Trust and Managing Trustee BDMC Dr. Ghulam Mustafa who due to health problems could not grace the event. He had conveyed his best wishes for the students and especially for the outgoing batch. Event was also attended by Miss. Varsha Thebo who is a renowned speaker and social worker from USA. There were entertaining sessions in which titles were given to the students which were decided by the polls. The show concluded with dinner and photo session. All in all it was a fun filled event which allowed the fresh batch to mingle socially, not only with senior students but also with faculty members and a grand farewell to the outgoing batch to make great memories which will be cherished forever.
