Awareness Seminar

On November 8th, 2023, Department of Orthodontics , Bhitai Dental & medical college Mirpurkhas organized an awareness seminar titled “Importance Of Good Oral Hygiene For Orthodontic Patients: Current Perspective” in collaboration with the Haleon GSK Pak ltd. Dr. Muzaffar, Assistant Professor of Orthodontic Department and Mr. Faheem Bhatti of GSK Pak ltd discussed the topic in detail. The event was attended by large number of students, house officers, senior & junior faculty members, management team members and trustees who attended in large number. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Butt, Managing Director, was the Chief Guest. Dr. Permanand, principal BD&MC was the guest of honour. Dr.Ali Maqbool, secretary Principal to MD, thanked the participants. Dr. Nazir conducted the session. Dr. Tariq Memon, Dr. Farhat Jehan, and Dr. Saima Yousuf supervised the event under the guidance of Dr. Qamar HOD, Orthodontics. The session concluded with the certificates distribution by Managing Director Dr. Ghulam Mustafa. In his address MD Dr. Ghulam Mustafa Butt, appreciated the team Orthodontics and emphasized more such activities out of the campus. Later he inaugurated the health awareness day stalls in the Department of Orthodontics including chilled test desk. Different models, posters, informative material was available to educate the patients.
