The Department of Health Professional Education Bhitai Dental and Medical College has following aim and objective are under as:

• Creation and upgrading of curricula/syllabi of Medical and Dental undergraduate program in collaboration with affiliating university.
• Professional and teaching skills development to faculty through seminars, workshop and different courses.
• Continuing medical education through selection of professionals from affiliated medical institutes in the relevant discipline and planning and organizing the interactive sessions. Feedback is taken from the participants for quality enhancement.
• Implementation of innovative teaching strategies, including Large and Small group learning like Problem-based learning, Cased-based learning, interactive session with students, with evaluation and assessment techniques.
