DESCRIPTION

The science of Pharmacology is concerned with the effects of drugs on the cellular mechanism, and the fate of drugs in the body. These form the basis of an understanding of the use & abuse of drugs in society and their influence on community health. The teaching of pharmacology governs the origin structure, pharmacodynamics and actions/reactions of the commonly used drugs. Experimental work is aimed to demonstrate the action of drugs in experimental animals and human beings, for this purpose the college has fully developed and equipped pharmacology lab and Animals house at the campus. Students with one faculty member visit the pharmaceutical industries to observe manufacturing techniques.
