Scope of Student Affair Department

DESCRIPTION

1. The Department of student affairs deals with a wide range of activities, services, and resources provided to students related to their academic, co-curricular, and professional pursuits.
2. The Department is actively helping students become aware of the different opportunities and services available to them through the college management and staff’s concerted efforts.
3. The Department of Student Affairs offers and awards scholarships to the deserving students of the institute.
4. The Department will allow students to volunteer in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating programming developed by the students and institute.
5. The Department organizes multiple events/programs in collaboration with the different student societies in charge.
6. The Department of Student Affairs manages the Canteens, which serve students with clean and high-quality meals. Photocopy shops supervised by the Department of Student Affairs also allow students to make low-cost copies of their work.
7. Students Affairs maintains and furnishes both the Girls Common Room and Boys Common Room to meet the needs of female and male students to study and relax.
8. The Department provides graduating students with a Clearance Certificate and attestation of academic documentation for PMC registration and higher education.
9. The student affairs department supervises significant on-campus and out-campus events, including safety and security, crowd control, and compliance with contractual obligations and college policies.
10. The student affairs department will form various student committees. Student volunteers will get training in leadership development, programing skills, policy development, budget development, and marketing of different institutional programs.
11. The student affairs department will engage daily with the students of the different committees for guidance and updates on the institution’s various programs.
12. The student affairs department will collaborate with the students, staff, and other departments to enhance the quality of students’ life.
13. The student affairs departments form an alumni network to gather all their graduates under an umbrella.
14. The student affairs department maintains the academic record of its alumni students.
15. The student affairs department manages college-community partnership programs, faculty partnership programs, and alumni network programs.
16. The student affairs department maintains their attendance (physical and biometric) and all academic records.
17. The student affairs department arrange different carrier development, motivational, leadership workshops.
