It was a day of great happiness and delight as Bhitai Dental and Medical College, Mirpurkhas witnessed Day One Ceremony / Orientation Day on Monday, February 25, 2019.
It was absolutely delightful to announce that Bhitai Dental and Medical College has finally inducted it’s 8th batch session 2018-19. All newly inducted Students with shiny faces and a lot of expectations attended the ceremony along with their parents.
The program started at 12:00 PM with the recitation of Holy Quran followed by Naat e Rasool SAW and National Anthem. The two hosts for the day Dr. Maryam and Dr. Sadia Memon welcomed all the guests and invited the honorable Managing Trustee, Bhitai Dental & Medical College, Mirpurkhas, Dr. Ghulam Mustafa for introductory speech. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa welcomed the new comers and highlighted the fact that the newly admitted students were lucky enough to be a part of this graceful and respectful profession. He emphasized them to work hard and make their dreams come true.
Dr. Aryba Murtaza Jalbani & Dr. Zainab Iqbal Motiwala who were the graduates of BDMC and now serving BDMC highlighted their journey from First year to graduation at BDMC, Dr. Isra Irfan who is also a graduate of BDMC and currently working as a house officer motivated and encouraged the freshers and Dr. Arshma Anwar who is a final year student at BDMC also shared her experience at Bhitai Dental and Medical College.
Second year student Ms. Abshaar who is a member of Media Society at BDMC played a brief but beautifully made video encompassing the details of the college building and campus life at BDMC.
The two hosts introduced the First Year BDS faculty to the new students. Lab coats were distributed among the newly inducted students by Managing Trustee, BDMC, Dr. Ghulam Mustafa; Dean BDMC, Prof. Dr. Sajjad Akhound; Executive Director Coordination, Prof. Muhammad Laique Thebo; Executive Director Administration, Dr. Sohail Khero; and Executive Director Bhitai Welfare Hospital, Mr. Aamir Shakoor.
Executive Director Coordination, Prof. Muhammad Laique Thebo presented the vote of Thanks which was followed by Lunch and visit of the college campus and welfare hospital.
